For you dinosaurs (myself included) who still remember the insane mine matches and karate chopping contests of Rare’s Golden Eye 007 for the N64 in 1997 exciting news: not only are we being treated to an updated version for the Wii this fall but a limited edition bundle containing a golden colored classic controller pro will be available for purchase. For $69.99 you can take hold of this stylish controller as you take up the role of Daniel Craig's James Bond, an interesting and exciting change up for the highly regarded shooter. Activison and UK developer Eurocom rewrote the script to tailor fit the story to Craig’s Jason Bourne-esqe style. You could get just the title itself for $49.99 but the classic would offer better control and also looks pretty damn sweet. Get your hands on it in November.
Everbody loved legos right? I mean it used to be like Incpetion, if you could dream it, you could build it. One individual took that idea and applied it to his true passion, music. The end result of his experiment: DIY Lego Headphones. Creating his own sound, he must be a Drummer. Check out more over at Instructables.com.
Fight fans the crossover we have been waiting for has arrived and comic-con last week Street Fighter X Tekken (pronounced Street Fighter cross Tekken) was announced to much fan fare. Yoshinori Ono from Capcom and Katsuhiro Harada from Namco played against each other in a quick match and showed of some of the games mechanics, it appears to be based off of Street Fighter IV's fight system and features same visuals as the hit title. While few remeber the pairs collaboration in the Japanese only release of Namco X Capcom Other details are scarce and they have yet to discuss a roster or a relaese date so for now, drool with me over this Trailer:
RC Preadator Drone?!- It seems we’re getting closer and closer to our own personal Preadator drones. While the Hawk Eye RC Chopper doesn’t release a deadly pay load upon your enemies, it’s handy for some spy work on your neighbors with that really hot daughter in that sweet pool. It can take about up to five minutes of 320×240 video and about a couple hundred 620x480 still photos. While not exactly military grade spy drones for $65 its not a bad start. Check out some sample footage this bad boy in action and watch for it this fall.
Saw this intriguing trailer and had to give it a shout. Apprantly your reprising your role as a Alpha series Big Daddy from the sequel, but not the same one. You are tasked with protecting a Little Sister from waves of splicers and rouge Big Daddy's. Combat looks quite franetic and theres the promise of new unlockables. check out the trailer HERE.
